Using FrontPage & Access 2000 to Develop Online Data Forms 

Why online forms? 

A simple rhetorical answer is  why not . Online forms have many advantages over traditional 

paper pencil surveys. It diminishes the use of paper and pencils. With that, it eliminates the 

need for scanning machines that tend to jam or malfunction. It provides always on capability, 

so that respondents can fill the form out anywhere there is internet collection. It provides 

branching capability, therefore reducing the length of survey, just to name a few of the 

advantages of online forms. 

Like people in any trades, the better we know about the tools available to us, the easier it 

might be for us to do the work.  Lets find out what tools are available to us in FP.  Most of 

the buttons we need in designing a page are in the Formatting Tool Bar.  You can activate it 

by clicking View => Tool Bars and select Formatting if it is not.
