Creating Your Online Database
So far, we have only created the form. The form won t be useful if it does not collect data.
Next, we will need to learn to create and manage the data by using MS Access.
Click the
Normal
tab in page view, place the mouse cursor anywhere in the FDA:
1. Right Click in the FDA (Form Design Area)
2. Choose
Form Properties
3. Select/Check
Send to Database
and click
Options
4. Click
Create Database
. Be default, FP will name the database after the page name
and name the table that is going to hold the data as
Results
.
If everything goes as magically as it should, a message box appears:
