Using FrontPage & Access 2000 to Develop Online Data Forms 

If you plan to use SPSS later to do data analysis, it is usually a good idea to restrict the length 

of the field names to 8 letters.  After we have determined our naming schema, we are ready 

to define the fields for the 

Results

 table. 

To define database fields: 

1.  Double click the radio button in the cell under Participation and Often to activate 

the Radio Button Properties dialogue box and you will have something like the one 

shown below 

2. Change 

R1 to Q1_P_1 (stands for sub question 1 for Question 1 regarding 

Participation) for Group Name and change V1 to 3 in Value (stands for Often). 

3.  Double click the button under the  cross point  of Participation, Sometimes, for 

Regional Conference.
