ABOUT THE AUTHORS 

Dr. Meihua Zhai is the Chair elect of OCAIR (The Overseas Chinese Association of 

Institutional Research. http://www.bgsu.edu/organizations/ocair/). She has more than 10 

years of classroom teaching and 5 years of computer lab teaching experience.  She is a 

published author. She is respected for her strong technical background and the ability of 

applying technology to improve organization efficiency and learning. She currently chairs

Dr. Jing Luan is the President of his trade organization, the RP Group

) and Chair of OCAIR. He taught five years of technical English to 

engineering students in China. He is a published author and his most recent technical writing 

is on establishing a Tiered Knowledge Management Model (TKMM) and data mining in 

American higher education. He managed the California Community Colleges' Data 

Warehousing Project of 108 colleges. He is the founder of the Knowledge Discovery
