In order for Cite While You Write to install properly:

Microsoft Word 2000, XP, or 2003 must be correctly installed on 

your computer prior to installing EndNote.

For Word, the EndNote installer must be able to locate the Word 

Startup folder. You need to have full read and write access to 

Word's Startup folder in order to install EndNote commands.

RTF Documents:

For word processors other than Word, write your paper, insert in text 

citations, then save to an RTF file and use EndNote's RTF Document 

Scan feature to format the citations and bibliography.

If your computer has software installed to allow synchronizing with a
