Start the Browser

1. Start the NetBackup Browser. 

a. Click the Windows Start menu.

b. Click Programs, NetBackup, NetBackup   Client.

The Backup, Archive, and Restore   NetBackup window will appear.

Toolbar 

For most operations, it is easier to use the buttons on the toolbar. The horizontal 

toolbar on the Backup, Archive, and Restore   NetBackup window opens 

windows to browse for backups or restores and to view the progress report of a 

NetBackup operation.

The NetBackup Backup window or the NetBackup Restore window have a 

vertical toolbar with buttons for frequently used menu commands. Clicking a 

button on a toolbar has the same effect as using the menu command. Any action 

initiated by the buttons on the vertical toolbar only pertains to the window it is 

associated with.
