During the quarter, staff from each CSSCs took part in the following workshops and seminars:
On April 2 5, the country workshop on participatory monitoring and evaluation held in Bishkek
the participants applied their new knowledge shortly after during evaluations of the CAGs.
On June 17 22, the Hub Center's advanced training workshops on fundraising and governance
the participants drafted fundraising strategies as part of their strategic plans, and compiled
provisional plans on developing governing bodies within their organizations.

Activity Overview
Together with the NGO Moltur Koz, Interbilim organized TV debates on the problems of street
children that were attended by 80 people including Deputy B. Baltabaev, B. Shamshiev, a
prominent film director, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs,
Ministry of Education and NGOs. State TV broadcast the debates on May 28.
Interbilim published the first collection of stories about civil society developments in Kyrgyzstan.
This collection consists of interviews and articles on achievements of civil society organizations,
problems they face, and the contributions they make towards building democracy.
