Emergency Rescue

The arrangements for emergency rescue will depend on the nature of the
confined space, the risks identified and the likely nature of an emergency
rescue. The arrangements need to cover:

rescue and resuscitation equipment
n
raising the alarm and rescue
n
safeguarding the rescuers
n
fire fighting
n
control of plant
n
first aid
n
civilian emergency services and information they may require
