6.3.6 

When a new facility, component part or altered existing facility are 

handed over to MOD, designers and the contractor are required to 

provide records and other documentation to satisfy the requirements 

of the Maintenance Management Organisation.  Information required 

may include: 

n 

record drawings and plans used and produced during the 

construction process along with the design criteria 

n 

general details of the construction methods and materials 

n 

details of equipment and maintenance facilities 

n 

maintenance procedures and requirement 

n 

manuals provided by specialist contractors and suppliers which 

outline operating and maintenance procedures and schedules for 

plant and equipment installed 

n 

details on the location and nature of utilities and services.
